The Picture Researcher is responsible for researching provenance, sourcing images and clearing permissions for Paul Mellon Centre publications.

Maisoon has worked on a number of major publications for the Centre, including Johan Zoffany: 1733-1810 by Mary Webster (2011); The New Painting of the 1860s: Between the Pre-raphaelites and the Aesthetic Movement by Allen Staley (2011); Richard Parkes Bonington: The Complete Drawings by Patrick Noon (2011); 16th-19th Century British Painting: State Hermitage Museum Catalogue by Elizaveta Renne (2011); In the Olden Times: Victorians and the British Past by Andrew Sanders (2013); Joshua Reynolds: Portraiture in Action by Mark Hallett (2014); and George Romney: A Complete Catalogue of his Paintings by Alex Kidson (2015).

As Picture Researcher and Project Assistant, Maisoon worked with Paul Spencer-Longhurst on the Richard Wilson Online project. This electronic catalogue raisonné was published to coincide with the tercentenary of the artist's birth in the Autumn of 2014, and complements a major exhibition of the artist's work at the Yale Center for British Art, New Haven and the National Museum Wales, Cardiff. Providing free and open access to the works of Wilson for all researchers worldwide, Richard Wilson Online is a highly valuable research resource for the scholarly community and the general public. Subsequent to this Maisoon, has contributed to the online catalogue raisonné compiled by Richard Stephens on the work of Francis Towne (2016), and continues to provide research assistance for articles published in the Centre's online journal British Art Studies.

Maisoon holds an MA in Digital Art History from Birkbeck College, University of London.
